The research will study the historical context in which the Second Vatican Council began, what came after it, how it began and how it was formed, what are the various reasons that prompted the Vatican to hold it, and the desired goals behind its establishment.

The research will also stand on the nature of the criticisms directed at the efforts of the Vatican in the dialogues, from various and different groups, and from multiple walks, in order to be taken into consideration and attention. Because its continued existence and recurrence are among the most important obstacles to dialogue and its failure.
