The subject of this study was one of the examples that history has reaped. It did not receive the study it deserved, or even the attention it deserved, or the recognition of its existence and legitimacy, in the language of politics today. What these two positions from history depict for us:
Al-Hafiz Abu al-Fadl Muhammad bin Nasser al-Salami, as usual, was the first to do so: an Ash’ari healer.
Al-Hafiz Abu Tahir Al-Salafi said: Ibn Nasser heard a lot with us, and he is a Shafi’i and Ash’ari, then he moved to the doctrine of Ahmad in the principles and branches, and he died according to it.
This text accurately chronicles this relationship; This is a Shafi’i Ash’ari who wanted to leave his theological school of thought, so he left the other with him, for nothing but the normal pairing - relative to habit - between them!!
