One of the preoccupations with which the Orientalists were concerned was the legacy of Ibn Taymiyyah, so it was necessary for scientific research to uncover the starting points and backgrounds. And the methods that led many orientalists to study Ibn Taymiyyah’s sciences and his personal biography and study their most prominent results. After the researcher’s extensive exploration of the horizons of Orientalist writings regarding the sciences of Ibn Taymiyyah, it became clear that they are related to many of the Sharia sciences in belief and jurisprudence. For this reason, this study reviewed those sciences in five chapters, the first of which was related to monitoring the various Orientalist schools and their writings about Ibn Taymiyyah and explaining their trends.
